Celebrate ANZAC Day with a favourite Aussie tradition - a day of country racing!
Kick back & share in the spirit of this day with family and friends at the 'Mount Avoca' ANZAC Day races.
Enjoy traditional ANZAC Day activities, including the Die Hard Footy Fan Competition for the kids, where some fantastic prizes will be up for grabs in celebration of Aussie Rules on ANZAC Day!
And because ANZAC Day falls on a Friday this year, you can pitch your tent or park your caravan at the racecourse and spend the night under the stars, setting off to explore the endless delights of the Pyrenees region the following day!

‘Camp In’ at Racecourse
Make the most of the long weekend by enjoying a day at the races, and then camping on-course overnight. Book your camp package prior to the race day which includes:
- Admission Campsite Shower and toilet facilities
- BBQ breakfast

By Car
Avoca is situated 40 mins past Ballarat on the Sunraysia Hwy. Once in Avoca turn left at Mobil service station, follow road for approx 3 km, then make right hand turn (is signposted), follow road until racecourse turn off.
Other important event information -
No Personal Shade Structures or Umbrellas
No BYO alcohol
No dogs or other animals
No personal BBQ unless permit from CFA is faxed through to Club prior to the 11th of Apr, 08.
